Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 (Wi-Fi), Gold Brown

I purchased these galaxy tablets for my grandchildren. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars because the children are young (under 10). They do everything I wanted them to do they can play all their favorite games. It doen't freeze up and moves from one task to another quickly. They've been dropped a few times and still work. I would definately recommend this tablet.

So I recieved this galaxy tab 3, wasnt sure about tablets, but since I have the galaxy phone anyways I figured lets try it. It is set up just like the phone, but with way more features, etc. Cool part is I can transfer data back and forth between my tab and phone so I can carry one and switch over when I want to and skip a beat. Only drawbacks I see is that internal storage is a bit low, but if you are a smartphone wiz you can handle that problem like I did. Never crashes or re-boots itself. The cameras are great, but no flash. Once again that is minor when you can always use your phone and then transfer the photo on the tab. It comes with dropbox and 50mb or gigs, cant remember which, but you can use that to store, share and transfer even more photos. Lots of features like PEEL, the remote control app. I set it up for everyroom and it is wicked. Lets you customixe and rate what you want to watch, controls my audio reciever, tv, and directv for each room seperatley. The more programs you rate, the more detailed favorite programming you get. Really cool stuff. I havent had it too long, but Ive played with almost every aspect of it that I can from developer options and settings to apps and setup, I still seem to be amazed at the ease of use and straight-forwardness of it. Price is unbelieveable for this thing, my galaxy3 phone cost way more and basic difference is I have cell service with one. If you have wi-fi at home you can set up to send messages and calls for free. My kids love playing with it and I am able to limit their usage on it which is a plus. Reviews I looked at on here before I bought it, I have to disagree with some of them. In a brand name you get more than what you paid for. Yes internal is only 8gigs but you can fix that if you try or care. I havent even pushed benchmark on 5gigs yet and that was before clearing up the memory a bit. Two app stores and tons of freebies when you register the product as well. Not slow as others suggest. i assume they downloaded to capacity and obviously causing issues if you do that. Instead of apples facetime you can use googletalk and do the same. Of course there is always good and bad to everything hence all the different products, but Im extremley happy of this device and now I use it so often and take it everywhere. Honestly good quality, no "rubber" feel due to the LCD. Its clean, crisp and sharp. I of course purchased the screen protector and book cover before I started messing with it. Protect the investment and it wil pay for itself, especially with kids!! I love this thing and couldnt be happier. Its great for entry level to expert smart device users. If you are more on the expert side, you could opt to purchase the bigger internal version. But samsung has done a great job with their electronics as of late. I will wait for a newer version to see all the improvements, but until then I bought 2 more already for my family so we can stay organized together. Using the COZI app or calendar app we can set dinner up and shop for items weeks in advance. Great way to organize the family for a low cost. I wouldnt buy any other brand after having this tab, phone and tv a samsung. Plus you can actually get customer service when you call samsung!!!

I bought this as a Christmas present for a teenager, they would have another portable way to reach wi-fi, without having to add to my cell plan. So far, this Samsung product has performed admirably well. No problems, no issues, good battery life. Still early, but I would definitely recommend it at this stage.

The first step is to figure out why you want a tablet. Being a child of the 60s, I love books with pages. However, I found there were other times I wanted the convenience of a tablet. I did my research and found this tablet reasonably priced ($159 from Walmart.com) It was a great investment to see if I'd really use the thing. I do. Being a Windows Vista girl, this tablet was very user friendly as I was accustomed to it's way of doing things. i.e. internet search, email etc It only came with 8gb which is plenty for me. I'd highly recommend it for the first time tablet buyer. Great battery life. Great picture. Sound quality is good. I have only had it for a week so I can't comment in it's longevity but so far, I have no complaints.

This is my 6th purchase from this manufacturer and as always another great product built by Samsung inc.
