Garmin Forerunner 255 - Slate Gray

Original 255 began giving me issues w/ some features and Garmin replaced it under the warranty. While the first one was nice the replacement has features the original lacked and I am very pleased with both the watch and the company for standing behind the product. Easy replacement after receiving assistance via a chat session. Love this watch!

Recently purchased and still breaking it into my running schedule but so far it's quite an upgrade from my old Garmin 225. Am very satisfied! It's lighter, has a bit larger screen and more features at an affordable price. What more could you ask for in a basic running watch? No need for extra bells or whistles.

So im not a runner but you can still use this watch for other workouts and activities. I'm more of a biker and gym type person. I also walk as well. I just learned when someone sends photos. I can video it on my watch. It was excited because I didn't know! Overall I love this watch! It was an upgrade from the 55 I had. Yes obviously it was past time for me to upgrade. But I finally did it! Its bigger and way better than my forerunner 55. I am super happy with it. For me I love the Garmin App. I've met so many individuals from the app alone face to face them. People being in town and reach out from the app and we meet up! Obviously we are friends on the app so of course if you like each other stuff and comment and join each other challenges. You build a rapport with people. What I would like Garmin to do is. Make it to where you can reach out without the world knowing about it lol. Sure they so happen to be in town and realized hey I was over there running today. Let's meet up. So we had to communicate through the app but of course delete the message right after. So it would be cool to have a space that makes it easier to talk to your followers other than under a comment.

Got this last month and paid extra for the music aspect but have not been able to download any music. Seems it can only be done with paid subscriptions. I don't want a paid subscription because I only want to play music while running. Otherwise, I like the watch. Better than my previous Fitbit.

This is the second garmin watch I've owned. The first being the 645 forerunner. I feel the 255 is more user friendly and has smarter technology. My only wish is that it had greater pixel quality. The upside of this is that it is easier to see in direct sunlight. But when using the face it option of personalizing the watch face with graphics, the color is washed. Other than this, it does everything I want and need it to.
