Safety 1st Guide 65 Convertible Car Sear, Chambers is a good looking car seat, excellent quality and easy to install. I'm just not happy with the car seat because it doesn't recline enough for my 5-month old grandson who is 16 pounds. The baby's head keeps falling forward when he falls to sleep. Are there any suggestions you have to make car seat recline more than it does, it really just seems to be upright and doesn't slant enough. Does anyone else have this problem. I know it will be great for him when he's a little older.

Looks fantastic in my all black suv. Don't know why people thought it was hard to install. I put mine in within mins. Haven't had it for too long though but my daughter looks very comfortable in it.

I did a lot of research prior to choosing a car seat for my 9month old. It's easy to set up & install. He seems extremely comfortable. It fits we'll in our honda accord leaving plenty of room for front seats and other rear passengers. Not to mention it's affordably priced. The only negative I can say is that you do have to use a towel/pool noodle etc to keep the correct reclined position for rear facing.

Overall the materials seem to be of good quality. The seat is soft, the fabric is decent. The straps however are feel very cheap and twist easily. Compared to a more expensive seat like my Britax Marathon, the straps of this are very thin. I had to untwist them numerous times while attempting to install it. I'm sure once it goes into use, this will continue to be an issue because they are so thin, they can fold and flip over easily in the slots. The cup holder will not install securely on the side and is really just a useless piece of plastic that keeps falling off. But most importantly, I am unable to get a secure installation Rear Facing. I have watched all the videos and read the manual front to back. I have tried both the latch and the seat belt. I'm not a first timer with car seat installation. My more expensive seats - Recaro and Britax - install easily, tighten down easily and have no movement at the belt path. No matter what I do with this seat, I have at least 4" of side to side sliding at the belt path which is entirely unacceptable and is not safe. I have spent two days pushing and pulling and sweating and cursing and I just can not get this seat installed. I'm going to take it to the police department tomorrow, but I can not imagine what they will do differently given that I have already tried every trick in the book. Overall this seat has been a total bust for me. Wishing I'd just put the money into another Britax.

we love the seat we actually bought 2 and they are great. It seems to be comfortable for the child and it fits in my sons small car as well as it fits in the van we have the other one in.
