Safety 1st - Easy Install Auto-Close Gate - White

The gate was easy to install, closes behind pretty quick to keep baby out. However after about a week the top button broke making it very difficult to open one handed. I have to push the button down with 2 hangs squeeze the bottom button and shake the gate up and down till it opens. Not very helpful when you have a sleeping baby in your arms and you want to take them to bed.

We initially had trouble with the gate not closing automatically. We took the screws out that holds the latch and sprayed some silicone lube in the holes. Worked like a charm. There is now no problem with the gate latching properly. Be sure to follow instructions for installation. Although instructions don't tell you to level the gate vertically, we did it anyway.

Looked at several different gates to contain my never stopping one year old. Price and quality of this gate is great! I had to adjust the bottoms once since I received the gate to make sure it didn't come loose from the wall. But I also have a 4 and 5 yr old that swings on it. The open one handed latch is the best feature of all.

I love this gate! I actually used it to replace another gate that my toddler figured out how to crawl over! This one is taller so she can't get over it! I also like how there is a color indicator so you can easily tell if the door is completely shut. This gate was very easy to install.

We purchased this gate less than a month ago and it's been great. Very nice white color brightens up the space, but metal is easy to clean. Love the auto shut feature. Have a little trouble getting it open sometimes, but could be me not squeezing the buttons hard enough.
