Frigidaire 24" Built-in Dishwasher w/ 14 Place Setting, Silver

Just as the warranty expired, our dishwasher began leaking. Had a technician into repair and he basically said that the entire plastic tub is warped from heat (that the dishwasher had produced) and the only option was to replace the tub. The cost to do so was more than we paid then, or more than the purchase of a new dishwasher. Would not recommend, leak resulting in damage to flooring.

We bought this dishwasher as a set, Fridge, Wall Oven and Gas Cooktop. - This is the second home we have bought Frigidaire Gallery appliances for. Starting the dishwasher is a hit and Miss situation. You select the cycle, press start and most of the time nothing happens. It often takes 5 or 6 attempts of opening and closing and hitting the buttons to get it to start - very frustrating We recently bought new kitchen dishes and both size plates do not fit in the bottom tray and constantly fall over during the cycle. It is also not smudge proof, I am constantly wiping it and all my other Frigidaire appliances down. Every finger print shows

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new dishwasher because it has lots of space for our dishes (we have a large family), the top rack is adjustable both up and down but you can lay down the organizing dividers in the middle section and the wash cycle is quite quiet. The only drawback is that the wash cycle takes at least an hour... but it's really cool that the sensor knows to adjust the wash length depending on the dishes soil level!

It cleans the dishes well. We put our SS pots and pans in and they come out clean as long as we use powder or pods (not liquid). The layout is very good and racks are adjustable. The only real problem we have is that no matter what dry setting (including Sahara) we use, there is a lot of condensation left on the floor, sides of the tub after cycle and cutlery tray is soaking wet. Which means I have to towel dry the tips of the cutlery. (Dishes are dry) I have even tried leaving the door open for hours after the cycle finishes. No difference. I have contacted Frigidaire.ca and am still waiting for a response.

Bought this dishwasher 2 years ago and never had a problem. All of a sudden it stopped draining. The line was clear, the motor just stopped working. We have to replace it at our expense because of course there's no warranty after a year. Disappointing after thinking we spent more for a quality product, apparently we were wrong.
