The gel itself was able to slick my hair down and left my edges smooth. It had a pleasant scent and nice shine, with great ingredients that are good for my hair that are included. Yet, it did not hold my hair in place and frizzed up after a couple of hours.

I was in shock on how the product laid my edges. Another thing that I love is that the prodcut didn't leave any white residue( which is the case with many edge control gels. I took off one star because I find that the product only lasts me about a couple hours before my edges frizz up.

This was my first time using an edge gel but I knew what to look for in a good edge gel including strong hold and lasting hold. This product offered a strong hold, albeit not that strong, but it didn't last long as it sweated out by the end of the day/a few hours even though I hadn't done anything strenuous and stayed at home most days. I would say this product is average. It smells nice and lasts long, but isn't something I'd purchase.
