I have had sisterlocs for several years and could never find just the right product to give my hair good control when I chose to roll my hair for curly styles. This just the job.. Thank you for a product that gives great hold and softness at the same time.

This is an ok gel. I wish it gave a little more hold. I like to use gel when I'm trying to make my wash and go last at least 4 days. I'm not very fond of the scent of this gel. I liked the Hair Milk gel better. It smelled nicer and gave a little more definition in my opinion. I agree with the other reviewer who said Carol's Daughter makes great shampoos, conditioners, and masks. The styling products are so so. I usually have to look for other companies for my styling needs.

It holds my hair in place while it helps my hair to maintain its healthy state

My long curly hair has the texture of baby fine softness and it does not like product at all. I also can't use sulfate-free shampoos, or my hair will dry out, snarl horribly and more will fall out than normal. Even though my hair looked nice just using a leave-in spray detangler, I wanted just a little bit of extra hold. Even with long hair, I used just a dime-sized amount of this, not knowing what it would do. My hair turned out softer than it usually is after using this and I'll probably need to add a wee bit more of this the next time I wash or get my hair wet. After trying all kinds of things, this is the only product I've come across that actually IMPROVES my baby fine hair. I did do my research before buying this and this product was on two different "Top 10" lists. Love this. I recommend this product.
