Not our first Walmart bike, tested bike thouroughly in store to make certain it was assembled properly. My children are 8, 9 1/2, and 11. They all love this bike. We have a lot of hills and the ability to shift gears is a real plus for them. I would highly recommend this bike.

My son recieved this bike as a gift two years ago. He has worn the treads down on his tires. The only problem we had with this bike was the chain. It kept jumping off, but after we fiqured out why it hasnt happened sence. He is now 10 and very ruff on the bike. He rides all the time and he doesnt want a new one, just new tires. The chrome is still rust free.

Might be good if you want to turn your kid into Arnold Schwarzenegger, but he won't go too fast on this bike: it's too heavy, made out of steel, it's pretty much junk. Don't waste your money!

I spent 3 hrs putting this bike together. One of my main problems was the chain came twisted. After getting the chain worked out, I was never able to shift through the gears. There was either to much slack or the chain got caught in between the gears. Unless you are mechanically inclined and have an assortment of tools, stay away from this product.

I was looking for 20" bike with gears for my 8 years old son. I couldn't find any other bike with decent price range. It is just couple of weeks so far but he is having really great time on this bike. He is very happy when he can change gears for bike on up-hill and is able to keep on going without "walking" his bike. So far, very good value for money. Fairly straight forward assembly and looks cool. Not worried too much about long term as he is going to be over grow this fast.
