Bosch - 800 Series 24" 1.2 Cu. Ft. Built-In Microwave Drawer - Stainless steel

Love having the microwave as a drawer. Not only do I have more counter space, but it is also easy to put items in and take them out, especially for my petite stature!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 4 years on, it's worked so well. I was skeptical about the evenness of heating since this doesnt have a tray - but I have been blown away by how evenly it heats, and the lack of tray actually helps cleaning a breeze. The one quick that I have is that it often gets "stuck" when trying to open and requires a shimmying trick to start to open. This is a pain when having guests since they dont know the trick. Wish it opened seamlessly when the button is pressed, but alas that's the quirk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bottom line is you buy this for looks and opening up counter space, and it is very attractive especially when installed flush in a custom cabinet. On top of that it functions great, does anything any other microwave does just as well or better. The ONLY downside to a microwave like this is that opening and closing takes a few seconds as opposed to the almost instantaneous act of opening and closing a conventional microwave. I use this appliance everyday though and still prefer the opening and closing to either crouching down or having it on the counter. So the only improvement I would suggest is a little zippier and fluid motion on the open and close, and not having to press a separate button for each of these functions.
