Bosch - 100 Series 24" Front Control Built-In Dishwasher with Hybrid Stainless Steel Tub - White

As condo dwellers, my partner and I were excited to replace a very old and noisy dishwasher with a Bosch model. We have been thrilled with the quietness of its wash cycles. Our only concern was with the amount of moisture left on the dishes at the end of a cycle, moreso in some areas of the interior than others. We tried all the methods for drying recommended on your excellent website, but with little success. We had never used the brand of dishwashing pods and rinse recommended or promoted by Bosch, so decided to try another major brand we had prior experience with. We were delighted to find a remarkable improvement in the drying factor of the dishes as well as the feel of the clean dishes, with the product switch. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This clearly is low end Bosch. Bare bones. We bought this online without seeing it in a showroom. The Interior stainless steel looks like thick tin foil and the bottom inside is plastic. Not noted in the literature description online. It just said stainless interior. Also even with using "Finish" there is a lot of condensation after the cycle. I would not recommend this product. Super cheap feel. (We replaced a 20year old Kitchenaid that was very high material quality, NO comparison!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am rating this a 4 and not a 5 because Bosh has to find a way to make it demand hot water from our Rinnai. It is a tankless hot water heater. The two solutions I was given, to buy a heater to warm the water up instantly that is going to that particular sink or stand there and run the hot water to the kitchen sink that is next to the dish washer when starting it up. Really, is that the best we can do here? Every dish washer product manual says water should come in at 120° to the disherwasher. Even this manual says it. The instant hot water heater that goes under the sink is known by many plumbers and builders to leak after a bit. My husband is in commercial construction and they do not reccomend the instant hot water appliance. Other than that by far this dishwasher is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered our Bosch dishwasher about a month ago, and it has turned out to be a fantastic dishwasher. We have always had dishwashers with a heating element. This Bosch dishwasher does not have a heating element, but it dries the dishes anyway and even has a sanitize setting. This brings peace of mind—not having another heating element to burn out in the future. Another great feature of this dishwasher is the manner in which the racks are laid out. They are laid out precisely with enough room for a number of plates and bowls without wasting space by leaving too much between the dishes and by not putting them to close together either. I told my husband that I imagined the engineers/designers of this dishwasher must included women. This is a refreshing difference, considering things women notice. So far, so good with this dishwasher, and we expect it to last for many years. I can see why Bosch has such a great reputation. Highly recommend this Bosch 100 series dishwasher.
