At age 2, my daughter developed an allergy to sunscreens. We were using waterbabies for 2 years...and suddenly a rash. We were there for something else, but the dermatologist said to try aveeno baby. She is 12 and we still use it. It's the ONLY sunscreen she can handle without breaking out with a rash.
I get bad reactions to most adult sunscreens (I think from the titanium dioxide), so switching to this made a world of difference. It's a bit thick in consistency, however, but works really well to protect my skin and keep it rash-free.
When first used product we didn't have any issues, after second use my son had a few eczema spots return but didn't put connection together but after third use not only did eczema get worse but his skin started peeling to raw red skin between ankle folds and feet.
How can a product made for babies can be so uncomfortable and harmful just after you apply it burns your skin!!!! Aveeno should review the ingredients on this product.
This is the first sunscreen I am able to use on my arms and not itch! It has been a lifesaver for me. I am an older adult and have been using this for a few years now. Thanks Aveeno!
