20piece Combo Kit

Takes a while to put the pieces together and the snap on parts to the connecting wire are hard to get right. Make sure you get your lights where you want them as it is extremely hard to disconnect a light. That being said the kit is good buy. The lights are bright and once you get them in they look great. Another thing is the stakes seem to big to fit the lights but I discovered the tabs on the top bend in to fit. The instructions are minimal but you will figure it out.

You can't beat this set of lights for the quality and value. Like in other reviews, it does take time for the assembly, but it's well worth it. I now have 2 sets, plus you can buy additional light fixtures if you need them. My local store had the additional fixtures that I needed at a very reasonable price. I wanted to go with the low voltage lights instead of the solar lights and these were perfect.

The reviews of this product looked good, so we purchased two sets of these lights through the site-to-store option. They arrived in the store and we picked them up and got them home and had both sets put together in about an hour. And yes, you have to put every component of the light together yourself. We just installed them this afternoon (easy installation, just time consuming), which took a couple of hours, and crossed our fingers that they would come on at dark. Lo and behold, around 8:15 both sets came on and I can't believe how bright they are for just 4-watt bulbs. They're much brighter than the solar lights we previously had. They do a good job of illuminating the immediate area where they're placed. The only thing that I'm hoping I don't grow to dislike is there is no on/off capability (unless you unplug them). It operates via a photo cell, not a timer. So it senses daylight and darkness and goes on/off accordingly. So they'll burn all night. We'll see how that works out. The number of lights you get for the price is a great value.

When I opened the box the light set was shipped in, the product box was already open. It looked like the company just threw everything in the box. Due to the poor packaging several of the plastic lenses were broken and there were no instructions included.

I just bought the Malibu 20-Piece Low-Voltage Outdoor Lighting Kit. It was everything I expected it to be, and the price was reasonable. I installed the lights with my 9 year old in a matter of... well it took us all day, but it was very easy. It was just time consuming in the planning and execution because you must consider placement of lights for effect. The actual process was very straightforward and the items are sturdy enough for everyday use. I'll wait to see how long the transformer lasts. This is a great product for the money.
