Ematic Wireless Waterproof Nightvision Color Security Camera/Receiver Set

i ordered the wireless security system. I still had to run 60 feet of electrical wire to power the cameras. The cameras were labeled 1 and 4 for the channel that they were on. I don't know if you have an option of choosing the channel when you order extra cameras. One camera works perfectly, the other one doesn't work well at all. For the price, it's ok but i'll definitely upgrade to something else later.

I live in an apartment complex and I needed a camera or two to set up in my windows on the inside. These cameras do a good job during daylight but when it's dark the infrared option will not work through windows. The rules of the complex is that wires or cables are not allowed to go from inside my apartment to the outside. I did test them out in other rooms in pitch darkness and they worked well as if there was a light on. I'd recommend this set as far as setting up outside or inside but not through windows.

I purchase my Ematic 8/08 Wow GREAT SYSTEM, easy install I record different hours of the day and night for family's protection. Best security product on the market. Its great to see who's at your front door with audio, or what's going on in your back yard at night! Thank you Walmart. Two of my friends purchase the product. This is not a bad produce, especially for the price. It did not suit my purposes due to the following: -The cameras needed to be plugged in -The cameras could not be pointed downward or they would fall over (provided they were not screwed into wall) -I could not use wireless internet when the cameras were on. No idea why this is. -I could not view/record both camera feeds at the same time. Not sure if this is product limitation or ignorance on my part. -I believe this could be recorded by vcr, but not fed into PC or laptop. Thus would have to switch vcr tape every 6 hours.

Had mine for more than 6 months. They work very well for what they are.Yes they can interfer with your router or wireless phones on the same channel. But it would help if they told you that you can change the channel on the camera.Unscrew the lens cover and you will see two switches. Both to one side channel 1. Both the other way channel 4.By alternating one up one down you get 2 and 3.And for those wishing for more cameras the same cameras are made onder other names like astak.My are both outside one on the far end of the house through 3 walls and only get minor interferance
