KitchenAid - 30" Warming Drawer - Stainless Steel

Replaced double oven using oven/microwave combo. Warming drawer filled gap in cut out. Had to install a shelf Over warming oven and order heat deflector before they would install oven. Shelf added Was not flush with face of cabinet which turns out to be ok as the heat deflector fills gap between so you can't see any space. Love the look and happy with decision. We had to replace our old microwave/wall oven combo. All of the new units from a variety of brands were approximately 10" shorter than our old unit. This created a problem in that we would have "fill" the hole in the cabinet with something. You can get decorative, custom made plates but they are quite expensive for something that fills a space. We opted to purchase a warming drawer to fill the space and have something we could actually use. Have only had it 2 weeks, but it is roomy and has variable temperature control. Bought all new kitchen aid appliances for our new home. Love them all but especially love the fact that this warming drawer is also a crockpot. Now I don't need a crockpot anymore!!

My husband works irregular hours so I can keep his meal warm til he gets home. I also only have 1 oven in our new home so this is really a lifesaver at keep side dishes warm ( all the racks allow me to fill it up) when preparing a large meal.
