(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We've been enjoying our new fridge immensely. The water dispenser is internal,so not quite as accessible as others, but it gives the fridge a cleaner look.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) While this particular fridge is great, our reason for getting it is not. We purchased the same fridge 3.5 years ago only to have it fail as not repairable due to failure within the sealed components. It is completely unacceptable this was not covered by warranty and that we were made to purchase a second unit, even at a discount. KitchenAid obviously doesn't stand behind it's products. The delivery team was less than professional handling the unit and scratched the kitchen floor.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is very similar to the Whirlpool fridge I previously had, which I liked. This time I purchased a stainless steel model. There are a couple of things that I don't like. The bottom drawer in the fridge section is small and not very conducive to storing produce. It may be great for drinks in cans, but for someone who does not purchase that type of thing it doesn't work for me. The light switch in the freezer drawer frosts over constantly and the light does not come on. You have to manually juggle the switch to get it to work. I knew when I purchased this model that I would not use the butter shelf so I kept a shelf from my Whirlpool model and it fit perfectly. I like seeing the temperature of both the fridge and freezer drawer and knowing there is an alarm if the door unexpectedly gets left open.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) After a month I can say that this refrigerator is okay. Yes, as other reviews I've read have mentioned, there are a few build-quality issues like small amounts of insulating foam showing on a few joints on the exterior, and the two fruit/vegetable drawers feel flimsy and don't slide smoothly. Also, the exterior handles feel cheap and thin, but everything works well enough. The water dispenser on the inside is in an awkward spot and is much less convenient than one on the outside of the door. The unit is a bit noisier than our previous refrigerator, but not too much so to be annoying. It will probably die in an non-repairable way in about ten years just like every other major appliance these days, and end up in the landfill as our previous one did.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We received this new refrigerator in early February. We were very pleased with its delivery and installation. We congratulated Arva Appliances for a job well done. We are very pleased with most features of this refrigerator. There are a few items that we feel could be improved: The first would be the small humidity control tabs. They are tiny, difficult to move and their location is such that they are easily jammed by the sliding compartments below them. The second would be those sliding compartments. They do not slide in and out very easily. They should be on rollers. The third would be the location, or just the operation, of the water dispenser. It is somewhat awkward to use because it requires two hands - one to hold the container and one to push the activation button. The last item would be the split shelf. This is a great idea but difficult to locate properly to keep the front portion from folding down. Otherwise we are very happy with our new Kitchen Aid refrigerator.
