Works nice and is good for the price. Has plenty of sounds to have fun with. Only complaint is I can tell the keys are cheaply made. Very touchy and will double play notes by accident. Doesn't happen often enough to annoy me though. Overall a nice, cheap keyboard.
The piano was an excellent addition to my house. I've always wanted to get better with the piano and have some fun & this was the perfect way to start. It offers a lot of musical sections for different styles of music if you need it in the background when creating your own tunes on the piano. The keys create excellent, crystal clear and sharp sounds. The extension cord was long enough for me to put my piano on my desk. I am really enjoying my new piano and the design is rich looking & made perfectly.
My son has been asking to take piano lessons, and I'm so glad I found this keyboard. The keys have pressure, so it will allow him to build up strength in his fingers, in a way that mimics playing a regular piano. There are so many settings and sounds on it, and my son's enjoy just playing with the settings as much as they do practicing. There is a large headphone jack on the back, as well as a regular headphone jack so that they can play quietly during homeschool hours while one brother is trying to finish up school. There is a place on the bottom where you can purchase a stand and set it on a stand. I love that it has a book prop, and it's removable, so that you can carry the entire keyboard like a handle. It's lightweight enough that my 10-year-old can carry it easily, yet it is still well made and solid and sturdy. I can't say enough good things about this keyboard. It is so much more than I thought it would be. It's perfect for setting up an iPad to use for online piano lessons.
Casiotone digital keyboard PROS -Light weight -has handle for easy carrying. -Can take six AA batteries or has the option to be plugged in. -Have has multiple plug in on the back side for phone, usb and a pedal. -keys have a nice feel to them and spring back easily. -it comes with a variety of sound effects/sounds choices like banjo, crystal, raindrop etc. which makes making your own music a lot of fun CONS -I did find the controls a little confusing -I wouldn't say its for beginners. -Wish it had a built in option to record your own music you make on it. -Digital screen is a nice bonus but is small -the power cord was needs to be longer.
I had what I call a baby keyboard before because there is no comparison this is simply the best keyboard for home use. I come from a family of music lovers and a few talented musicians and learning to play a keyboard has been on everyone's wish list. I love all the options with this one, not just background music but the ability to change how the keyboard sounds. I love the piano sound best for the keyboard and I love the actual songs already loaded to choose from to play along with. I found that Casio has an app called Chordana Play that can be loaded to a tablet or phone to teach you how to play. The keyboard actually has the ability to plug your tablet or phone in to it so you can use the app with the keyboard to make learning even easier. The keyboard has a carry handle and a sheet music holder that can also work keep your tablet or phone visible while learning. The keyboard uses batteries or the power cord included with it. Plug in your own pedals or microphone and you are ready to really take the keyboard to the next level. I am not quite ready to join a band but my kids and I are definitely learning how to change the sound of the keyboard and how to actually play. This is a great board for beginners or anyone who already knows how and with the ease of adding accessories it is the best one I have used.
