Samsung - 36" Built-In Gas Cooktop with WiFi - Black Stainless Steel

We just bought this smart gas cooktop for my parents a few weeks ago and we're in love with it. The cooking temperature is amazing and the build quality is superb. We bought it mainly for its smart integration features and they don't disappoint. My parents are elderly now and I have a fear of them leaving a burner on and going to sleep, but with this cooktop thats a thing of the past. Besides the fact I can check if a burner is left on right from the app, I programmed several routines to alert us to our smartphones if a burner has been left on for different durations. I even get alerts on my Samsung Bespoke fridge on the family hub. If you don't carry your phone around the house, each knob has an individual blue LED to alert anyone which burner is on at a glance. This is exactly what we were looking for and would recommend 100%. On a side note the WIFI/bluetooth transmitter sticks out about 2 inches from the back of the unit, so make sure you have enough clearance behind the cooktop to accommodate for it. You can remove it and it does have a cover to replace it, but for us that would have defeated the purpose for which we bought it. We did have a granite backsplash about an inch behind our old one that we had to alter to make it fit, but it was totally worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife decided on new granite and cook top, and displaced an older Thermador top. Very nice, easy to clean design. Very attractive when installed. The online (Smarthings) feature doesn't do much but indicate off and on. So I am not sure if this feature is needed. Unless of course, you check if you left to burner on for some reason. Price similar to other top of the line cook tops.. Overall, my wife is happy, so I am happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice build quality. Easy to clean thanks to the removable grates and design of the pan area. Appreciate the illuminated knobs which it easy to know we forgot to turn it off. Also like the continuous flat surface across all the burners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace a Jenn Air glass gas cooktop that was about 12 yrs old and wasn't working and glass had cracked. We wanted to have something that fit without modifying our quartz counter top and the cabinetry and looked at multiple other brands. This was the only one that fit and had improved features. Love the central burner with 2 separate and controllable flames. The lighted dials are a nice feature. The grills are well made and allow easy sliding of cookware from one burner to another as they are continuous. Some reviews complain that the stainless scratches easily. We found if you immediately wipe up spills with a soft wet cloth and then polish the stainless with Wieman's stainless steel cleaner the surface looks brand new and doesn't scratch. The overall look is very professional looking. We are very happy with everything about it. Installation took 30 minutes. A piece of cake. Have no use for bluetooth connection and see very little benefit from it.

I really enjoy the blue light to show which burner is being used , the rack is made with a very strong iron and I loved the grill is an awesome feature .
