[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's way lighter than you expect it to be, with the best keyboard I've ever used on a laptop. My MacBook Air feels like a dangerous piece of sharp aluminum now, and my Microsoft Surfase feels like a tablet with a ratty type cover….. (never thought I'd feel that way about either of those machines)… love the track point, and reach for the Nano even before my phone to check email etc… leave it on sleep mode most of the time, when not in use and the battery lasts all day! Amazing!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little laptop. Superior battery, and one of the best keyboards in the business (good travel and key feel). It's a gorgeous little machine, and so light I felt like they must have left out something! It would be great to have some more I/O ports, but I understand that this is a mobile machine, and for that it's great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I have no complaints about the device. It has suited my needs very well. As a fan of compact laptops, having used the x220, and x280, this has been quite the joy to use, as well as it is aesthetic appealing. It's extremely lightweight, much more so than expected. The minimalist design is very nice, too. You will find yourself having to wipe it down often from fingerprints but, nothing that would become a chore. Last, but not least, having a laptop, finally with 16:10 aspect ratio (in this form factor) has been a true treat for my sometimes unforgiving eyes. I am able to get more done, especially when view larger amounts of data on spreadsheets, etc.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop itself is very nice but there was one critical problem. Once it went to sleep it would not wake up. The only thing I could do was to shut it down by physically holding the power button for several seconds. I applied *all* of the updates, drivers, etc. and experimented with the system/power settings. After Googling this I found on Lenovo forums that this is not an uncommon problem on many models of ThinkPad - not just this one. I tried all the suggested fixes, nothing. In the end, I *believe* I fixed the problem by turning off the "CPU power optimization" setting in the BIOS. Now the laptop appears to wake properly but I have no idea what kind of hit to the battery life I will take by disabling this. Even though it *appears* to work, I wasted 2-3 days experimenting. I should have just returned it immediately. This is a very nice laptop but until this problem is fixed "out of the box", I simply cannot recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best laptop in the world. Use to be a apple guy had a Macbook Pro 2013, but let me tell you something. I'm pretty sure I won't go back for the reason being for this computer. Small and very light. I have to say its worth the price for a good pc labtop. Going to be using it for work and school.
