Lasko - 16" Performance Table Fan - White

This Lasko fan really deserves a rating of "0". The first day we received it, we turned it on for 20 minutes to make sure it worked and then turned it off. The next day, I turned it on for 20 minutes while I exercised and then turned it off. On the third day, it did not go on at all. We took it apart and re-assembled it and it still did not work. The customer service representatives were professional, empathetic and did their best to rectify the problem. They reordered another Lasko fan and Fed Ex picked up the defective fan. I just hope the replacement fan that arrives will work for a lot longer than 40 minutes.

The safety guard would not fit together. The two pieces were so cheaply made that they would not snap together. I am a can do fix-it guy but this plastic junk is on its way back to Wal-mart. Wal-mart has a great return policy and picked up this fan at my apartment and I'm completely satisfied with Wal-mart support.

Love the way this fan Circulates. ..How it throws out air..but, the fan makes a horriblenoise on high speed. Know I have to call customer service & return it...Bought thus July 15th. Bummer

The fan is a good fan. Cools nicely but in a previous review the writer remarked about how quiet it was. I had this identical fan bought around 2005 and this one is much louder.

The fan is made of plastic and difficult to lift and move because there is no handle or any where to grab it. It also is a bit noisy for a new oscillating fan.
