Chamberlain - myQ Smart Garage Camera - Black/White

The cameras arrived on time and were packaged well. I read the instructions completely before starting the installation. One of the cameras required mounting with the included screws. The instructions didn't explain or illustrate how to remove the mounting cover to access the attaching screw holes in the base. I broke the stem to the camera in my attempt to remove the cover from the magnetic base. The cameras were otherwise easy to install and connect to my garage doors.

I received the camera and attempted to install it per the instructions the day I received it. Every time I tried to add the camera on my iPhone the myQ app would crash. I made several attempts. I finally contacted Service and after being on hold for 30 minutes was informed that this was a known problem and that they would have Support contact me. it seems odd to me that Cambridge would send out a product that they know has a defect. I finally searched online and found an alternate way to add the camera from a post I found on Reddit.

Should be a 1 minute project. Spent a few hours trying to reset, connect it, over and over. The app literally just said call customer support. Support was kind but the solution was to reset and re plug in. I have multiple 2 other smart devices in the garage that connect and work just fine.

Build quality is excellent! Clarity of video is outstanding. Provides another level of security for my home. Set up was easy and it only took one attempt. The magnetic ability is a step up from previous camera which was not connected to my garage door opener and used a different App. This total package set up is the best. Attach it to your opener via the magnet and done.

I like the camera BUT I cannot get the sensitivity lower. Each time a car backs in the driveway across the street, my Q sends alerts. I'm getting sooo used to those false alerts that I'm not going to pay attention the the real one that may happen. Not good in that respect!
