JBL - Flip 5 Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Desert Sand

Bought this a few weeks ago and really happy with it. The party mode is great and the sound is great. Excellent value too!

I bought it more than 1 month ago and I love it!! I didn't expect much out of it but when I first heard it I was amazed by the sound quality and durability. All of the features that the JBL.uk listed is absolutely relevant to the product. I recommend it very much. It can be bought for present because package that it came with is very nice.

Got this for Xmas to enhance music around the house and in particular from my record player. The sound quality is very good and very clear as the volume increases and the increased volume is louder than expected. Very easy to connect to any Bluetooth device

The unit itself is great. Compact, rugged, and great sound. We bought two to setup as a stereo pair though, and it took about 10 tries, two cell phones, two laptops and about 18 hours to get them paired. Firmware updates took about 4 hour (each), and they are very finnicky when connecting to the app. Everything has to be done in exactly one magic undocumented sequence. I hope JBL will improve their JBL Connect app experience.

Before this I had 4 flip 3`s and 4 flip 4`s (stereo setups for home and office) and they worked great. Flip 5 is horrible in that there is constant connection problem. The sound quality is not noticeably better than the flip 4 too. I would have continued using the flip 4s but also unacceptably short battery life and bad quality for the price. After so many products (including several different headphones), I am not planning to go back ever. There are much better quality speakers/headphones around for the price, try B&W or UE
