I was expecting a lot from this JBL Flip 6 speaker based on the reviews. However, after charging it to a full charge and listening to music on it I was soon disappointed. The full volume is underwhelming and the battery life at full volume is horrible. Maybe an hour or two tops. The sound is good but the equalizer on the app is horrible. I've purchased bluetooth speakers from Walmart that are just as good as this JBL Flip 6 for less than half the price. I would not buy this speaker again and I certainly won't recommend it. Very disappointed in this JBL speaker.
i was a long time UE speaker user but just couldnt bare to spend the several hundred dollars on a new one right now. though they are worth it. im so glad i got this one from jb. its got amazing sound for music and podcasts. i love this little speaker. and would definitely buy it again over the Ultimate Ears.
Bought this for 19 yr old daughter for holidays, weekends, festivals etc I've always had a Charge and think they are great, but a bit on the bulky/heavy side for her smaller weekend bags. The Flip is roughly the size & weight of a 500ml can of beer. Sound quality on the Flip is great and more 'surround' than expected, volume is very good especially given its 30W (vs 40W on the Charge) Very impressed, really cannot fault it, tempted to also get one for myself.
This is the 2nd JBL Flip speaker that we've purchased. The first one was a JBL Flip4. We had purchased an unknown brand at a lower price point, and the JBL Flip4 was in a whole different sound class (in a good way). We wanted another JBL Flip, and decided to try the Flip6. The sound is just as rich, battery life is great, and we're now committed to the JBL brand for our compact Bluetooth Speaker needs. I highly recommend choosing the JBL product line over cheap "wannabes". You won't regret it!
I bought this speaker for my brother's 60th birthday. It's not his birthday yet so I can't really review at the moment but I bought the same speaker a few years ago and I found it to be excellent, great sound and quality. I'm hoping my brother will love it as much as I love mine. Great colour too
