Frist off arrived 7 days early, made me very happy. I give the product a two thumbs up. very satisfied! I did buy inside thermostat as recommended in reveiws.I used mine on my promane burner and was 100 degree hotter inside...I test ran before I cooked. Will probably buy firebrcks, also recommended. I love love love!

We got the coleman camping stove for our skoolie. We tried it out immediately with cinnamon rolls and we have some tips. We got 2 fire bricks to evenly distribute the heat, thanks to a previous review. What we didnt do was preheat the oven slowly. I cranked that baby up to 400 degrees as fast as possible, and as soon as i put the rolls in it was a fight to keep the temp up. Thats my fault. Because i didnt allow the oven to truly preheat, my rolls had to cook for longer and they got dry. Thats my fault.

It works great. I placed 2 fire bricks in the bottom to give it some weight and to even out the heat while cooking on a 2 burner camp propane stove. I have been amazed how it has been so easy to adjust the heat on the stove to get the variable heat levels in the oven. I also added another rack so I could cook 2 items at a time. I saw another review where they had added one and it worked great. I ame so glad I purchased this camping oven.

First and foremost, this oven will work. We baked some new potatoes, and cookies on the last camping trip. That said, cooking in this thing requires constant attention, as temperature will fluctuate wildly. I invested in a cheap digital thermometer for the inside, and that was always about 100 degrees hotter than the built in one. Build quality isn't great. Tolerances are very sloppy, and after the first use, it gets even worse. The latches at the top and bottom are horrible, often bending before actually latching. Trying to get all the metal tabs to line up is comical. This thing is a simple metals box which mostly folds, and unfolds to form an oven, or a space heater. If you have little kids, keep them away from this when it's cooking. Would I buy this again? Yes! it is cheap, and with a little trial and error, it produces baked things. I'm pretty sure this is not going to last more than a handful of trips, but did I mention it was cheap. If you want something better made, get a Dutch oven (cast iron). If you want to look like that campsite guy who brings everything, well this will get you there. PS>. Half the cookies were good, and half burnt. The potatoes came out fine, but taters don't care about temperature. Plenty of lengthy reviews for this on YouTube. Enjoy.

Tried my hand at baking a couple of items. Gets hot on the bottom of course, so make sure you don't scorch what you're cooking. Still learning how to use it. The top had warped on me, but I was able to bend it back. The oven was heavier duty than I was expecting.
