Atlantic, Canoe Wood Multimedia Cabinet

I already had one on these on one side of my big screan TV and I needed another one to put on the other side. I thought it was more brown like in the picture and it is not. It is actually black which is the color I was wanting. Easy to put together and very strong.

This product does the job well considering the price is so affordable. The wood was a bit darker than we expected, and the quality isn't top-notch, but it definitely holds all of our DVD's, as we hoped it would. We may purchase another one for future DVD purchases.

I read a few reviews before purchasing this product, and some people seemed really disappointed in it, but really, for $15 what do you expect? I would say, it does the job, it's easy to assemble, and if you have dark wood furniture, it will blend in nicely. The color is very dark, almost black, so when they say it is "espresso" I think they are referring to the color of the grounds and not the brewed coffee :P. The little curves of the face pieces hide 2 DVDs on either side of the top and bottom shelves, 1 on either side of the second and fourth shelves, and none in the middle. I used some of the styrofoam it came packaged with to fill in those spaces so that I would have access to all my DVDs/CDs. It works, and the foam is well hidden. All in all, I would say that it isn't the most beautiful DVD rack, but it's pretty sturdy, it does the job, and you can't beat the price for a finished piece of furniture.

This product was pretty good quality for the price I paid. I'm not very handy and it was pretty easy to put together. No complaints there. Biggest problem was the website didn't say the color of it so I was guessing based on the picture. When I got it out it is without a doubt black. If not its the darkest wood known to man. Also if you're filling it with DVDs or VHS you can only use 4 of the 6 shelves it comes with because there is not enough room. The canoe shape does block the top and bottom corners so put your embarrasing DVDs there. Overall it is nice if you want a BLACK storage unit that holds about 100 DVDs/VHS.

We bought this to put my son's DVD's in... Once put together, the front pieces kept coming off. So, in order to prevent this, I put wood glue on the little dowel rods and the front has stayed on. Just a little note. I wouldn't buy this if I was expecting it to last forever or withstand force... but for a playroom tv it works just fine.
