Burts Bees Burts Bees Sunscreen, 3.5 oz

I LOVE this product. Yes, if I don't rub it in REALLY well, it will leave white splotches and even if I do, my skin looks whiter, HOWEVER...it works! I have so many discolorations on my skin from years of sun exposure, I don't care if my skin is a bit white. The important thing is that it's not absorbing the sun's harmful rays. I will continue to purchase this, but if you could find a way to get the white away, that would be great!

I agree that this product does go on white and thick, just as any sunscreens with zinc or titanium dioxide in them. If you're burned or have sensitive skin, it's a must have to protect your skin. I highly recommend it for vacations at the beach or anytime you're getting many days of sun exposure. maybe burts can add a natural tint to it?

I am a redhead, very fair skin. I always hated the feel of sunscreen on my skin but I love the feel of the Burt's Bees sunscreen. My mother is blonde & even more difficult to please that I am. She wants everything chemical free & organic. To make it more difficult to please her she had the 7 Year Itch when she was a child & she has the most sensitive skin ever. Yet she could wear this sunscreen. You don't know how pleased & grateful I am, since she has had skin cancer in the past. Thank you, Burt's Bees!

I had high hopes for this sunscreen but was disappointed with the fact that it wouldn't rub into my skin. I spent the entire day with white streaks all over my face and arms. Particularly surprising since it says "non-whitening" on the bottle. As for sun protection, I think it did a good job since it was so thick, no sun could get through. Not waterproof...

I bought this during a trip and returned it right after I got home. The smell is pleasant and that is why I decided to give it a try because I really don't like the smell of standard sunscreens. Also, my skin is sensitive and I didn't have a reaction. But, there are a couple of MAJOR problems with this product. I found it odd that the only sunscreen I have ever seen that claims to be non-whitening is the only sunscreen that I have ever used that is whitening. Also, this literally flaked off when I applied it. Lastly, I got a sunburn while using it that I think is due to the flaking.
