The marker colors were vibrant, especially the pink, red, orange, purple and yellow. I loved the fine point tips. They make it easy to do lettering of any kind. My two dislikes about these markers were #1, it's hard to distinguish between the red and pink. The colors are very close; #2, it's hard to see the yellow because of the intensity. The yellow is almost a neon yellow. Compared to the markers I usually use, these are much nicer. The competitors brand had a much broader tip, making any kind of fine work difficult. I really like this set of fine line markers. The colors are great and show up well. The barrels are comfortable to hold for long periods. The caps have the color on the tip, so you can store them in a container and know what color you're grabbing. The only real con is that the tip is not as fine as another brand that I own. Because of that, I would likely reach for the other brand for artwork. I could easily sub these in at times and they are a great price point. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
They do have vibrant color. I doodled with them, wrote with them, and let a child "write" with them. They do bleed through paper like all permanent markers, so that was not an issue as I put down butcher paper to protect my table. I colored in some detailed doodle renderings and the color was bright, crisp, and true to the cap colors. My strong toddler buddy, using a smash toddler hold, did not damage the markers in any way, so they do hold up to abuse. I did supervise her closely so that I did not return her to her mother marked for life. I scribbled, I doodled, I used them and actually wrote several pages of text with them to determine comfort of them and how they worked with paper. I love these markers and would definitely purchase them again, especially for art projects where permanent is the key! Great color selection and I am enjoying using them. My next test is to use them on shrink plastic to test the color under heat. So far, a great product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Using the Bic Intensity markers for the first time, I was amazed at the bold, standout colors. Markers move along the page flawlessly, without smearing or smudging. The color selections in the group were a perfect mix. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
These Bic Intensity UltraFine Permanent Markers are very good - best I've ever used. The colors are vibrant and easy to see/differentiate. The tips are comparable to a Bic fine-line Biro ballpoint pen, which makes them very useful for detailed drawing and close-up work. Please do believe what the package says about bleed-through of the ink (common occurrence with many, many markers, not just these...) and use an under-layer. Over all. I'm delighted!
