Scotch, 24 h, 1 x Super Glue, Clear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Scotch Super Glue Gel with the Precision Applicator to Test and Review. I love that this Super Glue doesn't get my fingers to stick together when I apply it to various projects. It goes directly where I put it.

I was really disappointed to have a favorite vintage item break over the holidays. While it was a clean break, it was still a heavy piece and I was skeptical the pitcher could be fixed. After applying Scotch Super Glue, I held the two halves together for about 2 - 3 minutes and left to dry on its side. The glue worked wonderfully! While I was sent the glue to try, I put it to the test with a special milk glass piece and was glad it could be repaired. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

There are both things I liked and things I did not like. First off, puncturing the top was a lot harder than it should have been, It took me 3 tries to get it open. Second, the middle where you squeeze is different and when full works great, but when it gets down to the bottom, I about broke my fingers trying to get the last of it out, I used this on a project of flowers I made for one of my Christmas trees. They I needed to glue the foam petals down because they were the base. The glue was great because it was a gel consistency and I could manage where I wanted it. But as it ran low, I think the "gel" consistency worked against me in trying to get the last of it out. Which brings me to when you finish the bottle there is no way to tell except for the aching fingers of trying to squeeze the bottle. Needless to say, I only got 2 flowers done with this bottle and finished the other 5 flowers with a good old glue stick, Which ended up working better anyway. So it was good while it lasted, but didn't last very long. Wow! I love how easy this glue goes exactly where you want it to. The squeeze sides and applicator tip work perfectly. No mess to clean up and NO drippage. I put it away and when I opened it a few days later the cover did NOT stick to itself. I highly recommend this product! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I have a snowman decoration for outdoors and the nose fell off. I needed something that would hold and stay even in outdoor weather. I used this glue and it dried quickly and held, even in the outdoors. The directions are clear and easy to follow. The fine tip is perfect for small jobs.
