It's very handy having the storage area - I don't have to get up to look for a pen or scissors or a notepad. My previous lap desk was plastic and it cracked plus had no storage area. I'm very pleased with my purchase. The only downside is that it's a bit heavy.

We knew our Dad would love his Father’s Day gift once he received it - back-ordered due to popularity - and he does! He loves the soft padding for his lap, and the storage area for his pens, Sudoku books, magazines, stamps, everything he could want to have handy and where he can reach it easily. The fact it is beautiful is a definite plus as well. We are so very happy with this purchase.

I thought they were a great gift but for some reason one of each was sent to my daughters' in Orangeville ON and the same order was sent to my home address which I did not order. My grand-daughter was very happy and was pleased to receive such a useful gift. Thank you, Ada C.

Nice lap desk for sitting and working with my notebook or netbook while watching a little TV. Especially nice when it's time to get up, and you can just set the whole thing aside. Good quality and the lap cushion is enough without being "pillow-like". The storage is good for my memory sticks and some pens and my mouse and some blank cd's, etc. I'm really enjoying the product.
