Maisto 1:64 Design Tow & Go - Elite Transport - 1970 Plymouth GTX

We got this Elite Transport truck and ports car for our son. He has enjoyed it. The color scheme of white, blue, and orange is pleasant. Our son is a fan of all things cars, and he enjoys the attention to detail that hot wheels has for all of their vehicles. He recently watched Ford vs Ferrari and having a new race car to his collection is something that he is always looking forward to. The sports car fits comfortable on the transport truck, and the two of them have a comfortable heft to them. The logos on the sides of both details, especially the smaller ones near the cars door, give the vehicles a nice touch. He has been playing with them with his other cars quiet frequently and the condition of the cars has maintained. Wheels still aligned and rolling smoothly. After lots of heavy use, the coat of point on both vehicle has not started to chip at all. For any one who has a child who enjoys realistic looking vehicles, but you do not want a toy which will immediately be broken, this is a nice choice of a toy.

This is a solid toy that is different from some of the newer car model / toys. It's a throwback and attempt to the real nice and well built toys pre-80's. It's well made and the details are nice and is solid enough to take a beating from little ones or will look good displayed. No real complaints at all for what is a nice gift to any car lover or kid.

This little set is so cute! The details in the transport car and the car being transported is so precise. They come in a box that is simple to get into and are packaged inside in plastic. Very easy to get out, no plastic ties or tapes to get through. The ramp on the transport care slides up and down effortlessly to load the car. My grand loved it! Playing on the carpet with them is a fun pastime.

The Maisto Design Elite Transport really appealed to my little car and truck enthusiast. The set comes with a truck/transporter and a smaller passenger car which fits on the tow bed. My son loved the colors and design of the Elite Transport, and he was really excited when he found that the tow bed of the truck was the right size for many of the other cars in his collection to fit on. The Elite Transport is made of both metal and plastic pieces, and is better suited to older children who will play less aggressively with it than toddlers and younger children. One problem that my son noted is that the frame of the truck and car are set very low in relation to the wheels - this makes smooth rolling difficult on carpet or if you push down on the vehicles while moving them, even on smooth surfaces. It may be best suited for display, but my son can't resist imaginative play with vehicles of all types - so we'll see how long it lasts.

The Maisto Design 1:64 Tow & Go Transport cars and trailers are awesome. I had a hard time choosing which one to get. I like to purchase high quality and detailed cars for my son to play with and these are perfect. I got the Mercedes-Benz G-Class / Car Trailer and it's incredibly realistic. The trailer has the "Maisto Exotic Car Wraps" emblem on both sides. The details are excellent! The colors and details are absolutely perfect and I see absolutely no imperfections in color nor details. The whole thing (vehicle and trailer) measures 7 inches long. This die-cast vehicle and trailer is made of mostly metal, and some plastic parts. For example, the hitch connecting the vehicle to the trailer is made of plastic. This is very well-made and sturdy, however, I would think that this plastic piece is definitely breakable with normal kid play. People usually get these die-cast vehicles for display or collection and not for normal play, but I thought I'd mention this in case anyone is thinking of getting this for their child to play with. I would only recommend these for adults or responsible kids over 8 years old. If you're looking for high quality die-cast vehicles with impeccable details, perfect paint and attention to detail, then these Maisto Design Tow & Go cars are absolutely a winner!
