Google Nest 3rd Gen. Thermostat (Stainless Steel)

My Worcester Bosch boiler had to be replaced I decided to add a fancy thermostat as it was only £60 more than a standard setup. The choice was either Nest or Worcester Bosch. I haven't used learning yet. Trying out schedule at present. + points. Looks good. Energy saver works well. Easy to program. - points. History is only 2 weeks. No individual room management in Europe.

Bought this new Nest Thermostat last year and added a camera on for security. Nest works really well (but you need to read up on it's functionality which is really good). Great to be able to control heating/water and see camera from the App. Overall a first rate product and would recommend.

I had an old heating system which didn't have a thermostat, just an timed on/off switch, so adding Nest was hugely beneficial. Plus it was compatible too! I was recommended it by my plumber, and it's a great product. Having Google Home I can control it by voice without having to lift a finger. Not a necessity of course, but great to show off the capability to friends and family.

Very pleased with appearance of thermostat and ease of use. Convenient to be able to set heating temperature from mobile phone. One thing we have found disappointing is the fact that only on a couple of occasions has the Nest recognised we are away from home -it failed to set the thermostat to ‘Away' even when we were twenty miles from home, hence only 4 stars, but it is easy to do that on the app

It is a good product. But it cannot be hardwired very easily. It is not as simple as swapping it out with your old thermostat. You can plug it in with a micro USC cable. Get the nest stand which also provides you with a plug and cable. The learning part of it works well so long as you live a life of routine. At times such as Christmas it gets confused and changes your heating times
