Spring Valley Omega-3 from Fish Oil Maximum Care Softgels, 2000mg, 180 Count

Excellent price for 2,000mg of Omega-3s. Most have that much of fish oil but only 360mg of omega 3s. They are 2 large gel caps but I don't have an issue swallowing large pills. I take 1 in the morning %26 1 in Evening(with food I rarely taste them) Study proven for brain health is 1,000-2,000mg. Lots of brands prices for 1,000 are hard to find or crazy expensive. Thank you for making 3 months of 2,000mg at such an awesome price

Pills are very large which is to be expected. They do not taste like fish. Supposedly have a lemon taste but I think they're tasteless and have no burp taste either. Lowered my cholesterol although not guaranteed for everyone. I recommend them though. 2 capsules per day. I included a picture of the capsule next to a 500mg acetaminophen tablet.

I received this Spring Valley Omega-3 from Fish Oil Maximum Care, 2000 mg Omega-3, 180 Softgels for free through the Walmart Spark Reviewer's program. I've taken fish oil pills for a while now. I've had giant, hard, pills and even ones that would give you fish burps. These ones, being soft gels, were nice because they weren't that hard getting to go down. The size is also decent. Definitely not the largest pill I have had before. The most rewarding thing about them is that I didn't get any fishy burbs from them, which is as good as it gets fish pill wise!

The Heart Doctor that my husband has be seeing has been trying for years to get him to take Fish Oil Supplements, he has tried a few times but the side effects he claimed he could not handle. We were sent a bottle of 180 2000mg Omega-3 to try. They have a lemon flavor built into them to help with the bad after taste that all fish oil has. Well my husband tried these out and said they were much easier to swallow than the ones he had tried before, which was surprising because they are quite large. He did have quite a bit of burping after taking these but did not have the terrible after taste, he had some but not where they were untolerable. The bottle claims they help the eyes, heart and brain health. So I think he will stay with them from a while and see how it goes.

Spring Valley supports eye, brain, and heart health with these 2000 mg Omega-3 (from fish oil) dietary supplements. It is suggested for adults to take two soft gels a day with a meal, and you can barely taste the fish oil with the natural lemon flavor they have. At first, the smell is pretty strong but it is not as strong as fresh fish. I do not eat fish so the fact that it has oil from anchovies and/or herring and/or mackerel and/or sardines grosses me out; however, if I had to choose between eating it or taking a supplement once a day I would choose once a day. These supplements do not contain gluten, wheat, milk, lactose, sugar, artificial color, or artificial flavor. I feel pretty confident about taking this type of supplement as Spring Valley is one of the few brands that have strict quality guidelines. These are pretty big soft gels, but are packed full of 2000 mg Omega-3 Fatty Acids, 1,290 mg EPA, and 620 DHA (per suggested serving of two soft gels). The benefits of taking these supplements and supportive research suggesting it may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease greatly outweighs my dislike for fish, so I will continue taking these and recommend to anyone looking to do the same. I also just found that it may be linked to helping with depression or anxiety, which is in support of the ‘brain health' claim! So that is even more enticing since it is a natural supplement!
