Americana 1500-Watt Deluxe Electric Grill w/ Rotisserie Included

When we got this grill we were so excited. After opening the box there was one part completely broken and others banged up. Not the quality item we expected. We are in the process of returning it.

The grill works fine but was difficult to put together. This was because the instructions weren't specific to this particular model. Also, would have been easier to put together if all of the parts were included.

Grill was not real hard to assemble but did require some time. We have used the grill and it works great. Seems nice to use a grill. The apartment complex we live in does not allow gas grills, which is what I have always cooked on. Great job and will recommend.

This grill is great, you just plug it in and go. The only cleanup is the food grill which is nonstick and easy to clean. No waiting on charcoal or the danger of propane. I had one for thirty years and it finally expired. I was so glad to see they were still on the market. The rotisserie is a great feature also. The sidebars are nice when you are looking for a place to set your cooking tools, etc.

Needed to purchase a grill to be used on a screened porch. Had a gas grill for >30 yrs & concerned that an electric grill may not be worth the effort. Am surprised with its ability to heat, sear and adjust for slow cooking chicken & fresh vegetables, as well as high temp cooking for burgers & kabobs. Cooking an entire meal on the grill for more than 2 would be tight. Meat only would be do-able. Have not tried the rotisserie yet. Pretty easy to keep clean. Our only snag was assembly. My husband is mechanically skilled and has needed tools, but assembly took him at least 3 hrs. Instructions were written for a few different models and did not distinguish which model a paragraph referred to. Missing many screws though all other parts were packaged. Despite the assembly problem, we are pleased with our purchase.
