This is a handy power saw, for small jobs. Good for branches 4" or less. Handled nicely for the shrubs I needed to cut. It was easy for me to re-load the chain when needed. The push-button power button quit working pretty quuckly, making the saw run automatically when the battery is in place. That's a downer! The plastic blade safety cover is already cracked and ragged. But, all in all, it's doing the small jobs that I need to clear my fence line. Price is pretty good - longevity of saw...well, we'll see.
Just the right size for trimming branches and smaller tree limbs. Seems to have alot of battery life on a charge. Bonus: I stll have all of my fingers.
I really thought that this was going to be a mistake buying at such a low price but it was amazing! I cut down a 5 inch diameter evergreen tree and large bushes in my backyard by myself, a 70 year old woman. I love that it has two batteries but I didn’t use up the first one yet!
Very cheaply made and not safe!!! This fell apart after less than two minutes--the chain flew off and the parts scattered. The safety goggles (the instructions call them "googles") are designed for a child as the temple pieces are too short, even for a small female. After reassembling, I immediately returned it as I felt it was unsafe to power back on. The instructions were not helpful at all and were written by someone that has no idea how to use English - or a space bar. I was willing to give it some leeway since it is a small, foreign-made knock off, but not if it will be a safety issue. Note: In the couple of minutes that I did use it, it did cut through a couple of finger-width rose bush branches, but instead of a clean cut, it was more of a shredding process, so I'm not so sure about the cutting quality either.
I was skeptical because of the low price, but this tool is amazing. It is Perfect for my small hands. I used it to cut up a pile of one to three inch branches that have been sitting for a while. It made quick work of the pile I had and the battery lasted longer than I expected. By far the best forty dollar tool investment I have made in a long time. It is lightweight, small, and easy to maneuver.
