These tires came on a 2014 GMC 1500 that was bought new in Nov 2013. It has been less than a year and we have 25000 miles on this vehicle and the tires are shot. Most of our driving is done on pavement. I would say only 20% is dirt roads. We have had the tires rotated at the proper interval as per BF Goodrich and GMC. I have even had the truck checked for proper alignment. Everything on the truck end is fine. Now I have to buy new tires ever year?? Ill be looking for another brand to spend my money on. Do Not spend your money on these tires
These tires are FANTASTIC! I bought a brand new "07" Toyota FJ Cruiser that came with these tires, and here it is 2014, and 82,000 miles later and there's still a substantial amount of tread on these tires! I'm going to replace them within the next 5 to 10,000 miles, but only due to weathering and cracking... I wouldn't think of putting anything else on my truck!!!!
I have 5/32-7/32 of tread on my tires after less than 30K miles of normal driving. I had an alignment done the same day the tires were installed. I have taken everything into consideration on making these tires last, but the tread seems to fly off. I baby'ed these tires because they were expensive. I would not recommend this all terrain tire. You will be replacing them in less than 8 months if you value tread and grip.
These are, by far, the best tires I've ever had on any of my vehicles. I currently drive a 96 Ford Bronco with over 300,000 on the original motor. It is my daily driver. I installed the BFG All Terrains around 200k. I've driven mostly on asphalt and in sand and the tires have been outstanding! As I approached the 80k mark with these tires they starting seeing more action on gravel and some rock, due to work, and have performed great. I never even had a flat. They wore evenly with proper rotation and vehicle maintenance. Before I new it I was at the 100,000 mile mark on the tires. I would recommend these to anyone. As soon as my 66 Bronco is road worthy, it'll be wearing a set of BFGs also! Thanks BFG for making a great product and keep up the good work!!!
This is the first time I bought my tire for my Tacoma 2013, all I can really say is that this is an excellent tire on all kinds of various surfaces, especially on cold and icy terrain. The reason I tested it today, was because we had lots of snow and icy roads. The tire gripped on the ice and handled well. I would recommend this tire to anyone.
