3 Shelf Bookcase Mission Series

I saw this bookcase and thought it would go great with the Mission style nesting tables, magazine rack, and the smaller 36 inch bookcase I bought from Walmart. My husband and I wanted another bookcase for books and knick knacks. I did the site-to-store shipping and it arrived in less than a week. I was a little disappointed because of some of the damage during shipping. There were some hairline cracks and a dented edge, but it didn't warrant a full rebox and return for the hassle. Also, the inside slats were loose and very bendable and it was noticeable where the wood is different colors on one leg. The assembly was fairly easy, my husband and I put it together in about an hour. We hand screwed on one side and finished the other with an electric drill. I am a little disappointed that the shelves aren't adjustable and the overall quality. It was a few things here and there, but it did add up to me. I don't feel it was worth the money I paid for it. The other Mission style items I bought I didn't regret, but this I do a little. If the price was dropped 25-50 dollars then I would feel better. Maybe it will grow on me.

This bookshelf fits in a space between a window and a wall perfectly and matches the three small bookcases in my little bedroom library. Looks nice and is fairly easy to put together although it would have been easier for two people. The finish is more red than anticipated, but still looks good. I'm pleased with the simplistic Mission styling and the sturdiness. I've found the same bookshelves on other sites at a much higher price so I'm satisfied with these purchases.

This bookcase is high quality. It had very good instructions to assemble, and once done, it looks really great. I would recommend this bookcase for anyone who has a small wall space in width, but lots of height. Because of the slats in this piece, it also gives an airy look to it, which helps.

I bought this bookshelf realistically, I was not expecting high quality. It looks great once it is put together, and holds everything I needed it to. (movies on bottom 2 shelves and knik knacks on the rest). My only complaint about it is that it does not feel sturdy. The wood glue provided is worthless, so we re-did it using elmers wood glues and it is much more sturdy now. I have received compliments on this item, because as I said, it certainly looks great, but it will rock if you even remove a movie from the shelf.

It is perfect for knick knacks. I personally use it for all my tanning lotions, yet it's shelf space will allow even larger items. Space is hard to come by where I've got it. So this 5 shelf bookcase is almost perfect. It's also a color that matchs most of the woods in my home, and is virtually easy to put together (by yourself) It is very sturdy, as it is tall, so a person may think that it would be a a little wobbly, but it isn't. Perfect for against a wall, if that be a concern. One problem; one of the small hex nuts broke while screwing it in, and no extra parts are included :( They need better metal parts for this furniture! Best part, it's missionary style, and I am quite happy with the piece of furniture. 4 1/2 stars!
