Best in my fresh oj. Why is it so hard to find???

Ok, so I have this collagen now, I drink it every single day- I do think it's refreshing and herbal tasting, I think it's a great concept, however, I don't know if the combination of lemon and lavender are the best for this. I'm still going to drink it because I hate wasting stuff. But possibly think of a different herbal like flavor for the beauty collagen- maybe an herbal mint or something. :)

On its own this doesn't have enough flavor for my tastes. However I found that I really like it when mixed with a little more water and half of one of those sugar free lemonade mixes! I've noticed my skin being a little more resilient to daily stresses and my scalp is less flaky without changing my care routine for either. Also for those who have trouble mixing it, try a shaker bottle/blender bottle. It really helps and I have no problems with it. Be vigorous. :)

I purchased the lavender lemon flavor and had it today as a tea with fresh slices of lemon (since many reviewers stated the lemon flavor was not pronounced). I have been consuming collagen in various forms (baked into goods, in fat bombs, in teas, coffees, oatmeal & smoothies) from various brands and I can say that, at least for me, you need to mask the taste. With this one, I seriously only needed 2 lemon slices and a spoonful of honey- total win!

I just recently started using Vital Proteins Beauty Collagen to help me with some skin problems. This is my first experience using a collagen supplement in general, and only my second day of use, so I can't say I've seen any real changes yet. However, the taste of the lavender lemon flavor is just AWFUL on its own. There's barely any trace of lemon, only an intense flavor of lavender that is difficult to mask because it's so overwhelming. I would have gone for a different flavor had I known this upon purchase, but I'm going to try to get through it as I feel the product itself could really work for me. I think I will add a scoop into some lemonade next time, or even some orange juice, just to increase the citrus aspect that the packaging promised, and hopefully off-set the gag-worthy concentration of lavender.
