Sauder Harbor View Library Bookcase with Doors, Antiqued White Finish

Oh man.. ok so I really wanted to like this hutch, was pretty in the pics online, high reviews -but- you DO NEED a power drill regardless what directions say, because there's only a few pre-drilled holes and the front end pieces have nothing but “grooves” to guide your screws and there are 100s of screws!! My poor husband and I were hurting our arms and hands trying to use the suggested Philips head, instead of a power drill. And regardless if you use a power drill or not, the pieces don't line up properly and the end result is wobbly and wonky regardless. It's a poor design. It sways side to side regardless. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. We wanted to give up several times and throw it in the trash but just return it to WM and get your money back

The bookcases (ordered 2) arrived earlier than expected, so a huge thanks to Walmart. My husband and I was impressed with how sturdy the design is. Some of the parts were not labelled, (which frustrated my husband), but he got the first one built in a few hours. I was very disappointed (and upset) with the color. It is neither white or antique white! The color resembles unpainted wood. It has wood grain in the wood and it is almost acceptable with the exception of the top front facing piece. This has the fake grain and at first I thought it was a dried blood stain from my husband!!! I tried to wipe it only to find it wasn't. It is in a place where it is very noticeable and irritates me. We are considering having to paint the entire bookcase (and the second one to match). Also the doors do not close flush on one of the bookcases, despite the efforts of my very handyman hubby. We love this brand of furniture (would not let me submit with the brand name as it said it was offensive!) and have other furniture, but this latest purchase left us very unhappy.

Sturdy and heavy. Looks nice and elegent. It is made of partex and the finish is like vinyl, but looks very authentic and absolutely gorgeous. I didn't expect solid wood for this price. Bought two and they are side-by-side. Got lots of compliments as well. Glad that I bought them.

This is a super cute piece. Very sturdy and solid and blends wel with my much more expensive furniture. Color is a soft buttery cream, similar to french vanilla ice cream. Will probably buy another one!

This bookshelf is not difficult to put together if you are mechanically inclined. The problem is that there are lots of gaps in the finished product. The drawer has a half inch gap and the rails that run up the sides to the molding have a large noticeable gap as well. The doors are difficult to get on straight. It looks pretty good, but you are getting what you pay for here.
