Pedigree Complete Nutrition Adult Dry Dog Food Roasted Chicken, Rice & Vegetable Flavor, 40 lb. Bag

My dogs have been eating this dog food for about 5 years now and so far they haven't had any problems with it. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is bc I recently read in an article that Red 3, Red 40, Yellow 5 snd Yellow 6 are cancerous for dogs and even in humans. So now, I'm concerned if I should keep feeding my dogs this brand bc these are on its ingredients list. I wish they would just take out all the artificial coloring bc it's unnecessary since dogs are color blind anyway.

My dog is a Black Labrador retriever 7 years old completely healthy and happy. He started with Pedigree dry food after Blue about 5 years ago . After a bad stool problem. It was to liquid hard to pickup. We change to Pedigree and his stool until today is perfect. He is happy has Beautiful teeth and has no smelly breath. He is smart and always ready to play. Walks 10 miles a day. Is all mussels. He is a hansom male.

I've been feeding my dog pedigree her whole life. She is now 14 and the only health problems to pop up is that she is losing her eye sight to cataracts. I could contribute her good health to a combination of things but this product has to be one of the main reasons she is still with me and in good health. Also, she really loves the chicken flavored food.

My two dogs have eaten Pedigree Adult dry food all of their lives. One is 14 years old and the other is 10. My little one has now decided that the 'yellow' pieces are his favorite and will pick them all out, leaving only the brown pieces. If he comes back later to eat, he will sit and stare at me and the bowl, waiting for me to give him more of the 'yellow' pieces. Ever consider putting more of those pieces in the bag? That flavor seems to have the fewest pieces. :)

I am extremely upset that you started coloring the food! I have used Pedifree for years. One main reason being that you didn't use food coloring. Now I will have to go thru the trouble of finding a new dog food, that I can afford, that I am happy with, that doesn't color the food. That used to be pedigree. PLEASE go back to the original way.
