Freshpet Fresh Dog Food, Puppy Recipe Chicken, Egg & Vegetable, Slice & Serve Roll, 1.5 lb.

We have a 6 month old Yorkie, pickiest dog we have ever had when it comes to food. Since bringing him home we have tried Science Diet, Royal Canin, Merrick, Purina One and a couple other high end foods. Hank would pick at it for a couple days and would then just stop eating it all together. We would put his bowl down, he would sniff and walk away only to come back and finally eat out of necessity. I told his vet we didn't know what to do, we had tried softening kibble with chicken broth, mixing kibble with wet food, mixing pumpkin with food..nothing...until we started Freshpet Puppy! We were skeptical but the product has a great price so we decided to try it, and he loved it! He has been eating it for a week now and still seems to love it! As soon as he sees me get the roll out and start slicing he can't wait. Yorkies need kibble usually because their teeth go bad at an early age, but sometimes things don't go as planned. We will keep feeding FreshPet!

I have 2, 5 months old Bassets. My Haven wasn't filling out on the other food a vet recommended. I had used the FRESH PET food before when it first came out. At the time, my lab couldn't eat anything but that. I had cooked food for her before I had found it. When I noticed Haven not filling out, I thought, "I'm switching her to FRESH PET." I seen the puppy formula, SALMON, BEEF, EGG,ECT. I tried it and both Haven and HERO ( my other Basset) love it and both look great! Problem is, since it only comes in small rolls, I can't keep enough for what they need per day. I'm calling and running all over town buying what little rolls I can just to have enough for couple days. I REALLY WISH you would make the big rolls of this food.

We have had our 10 week old maltipoo for 7 days of picky eating or not eating at all. Finally we tried your puppy food and she cleaned her plate. She only weighs 1 pound and a half so I was very concerned. She loves your food and I am a happy dog mom!!!

My dog Angie is a 16+ year old Wire Hair Fox Terrier and my best friend. She is nearing the end of her life and suffers from many health issues associated with her being a senior dog including but not limited to Cushing's Disease and an extremely enlarged liver that pushes into her stomach compacting it and limiting the amount of food she can eat. For years, she had been prescribed and eating a dry medically formulated kibble, which only recently became an issue for her. I noticed that when she ate the dry food and it absorbed water and expanded in her stomach it caused her to vomit up her food. I tried moistening the kibble with water before giving it to her and she refused to eat it. She also refused to eat the canned/moist version of her medical diet. I became desperate, Angie was losing vital nutrition and her health began to decline even more. I worried it was the end for her. At her age, it wasn't worth keeping her on a medical diet that she couldn't keep down or wouldn't eat. I stopped feeding her the prescription food and started feeding her Freshpet Puppy food so that she received a moist meal that did not expand in her stomach and provided the calories and nutrition she needed. I chose the puppy food because it is higher in calories, which she desperately needs due to her failing health. I microwave it for a few seconds so it is warm for her to eat. Within days, her stamina increased and she became more active. She absolutely LOVES the moist food and no longer vomits up her meals. She is a totally different dog - it's absolutely amazing! She is so much more active and alert than she was even on her medical diet. I know she won't live forever (wishful thinking) but the extra days/weeks/months that Freshpet is providing the both of us together are priceless. I highly recommend Freshpet to anyone with a senior dog who is not eating like they should. Freshpet has given me more time with my dog - I can't thank you enough!

We got a frenchie puppy. He came with dry food (Royal Canine). He vomited, and had diarrhea. Other than that he seemed fine. I got online and read a breeders blog. They said that frenchie's are prone to vomit and diarrhea. They looked for a solution and found Freshpet and were very please that it cleared up the problem. I was a little skeptical but willing to try it. I tried the chicken puppy loaf. Man does he love it! Wow! The problem has been resolved. Couldn't believe it. THANK YOU!!!!
