this thing....has potential if the factory would put the chairs together correctly. Upon receiving our order we tried to put the chairs together (need to attach the arm/leg) 4 of the 6 chairs have the cross bar bracket on backwards and customer service is closed down because of this covid stuff. The pic shows how they are on backwards...the 4th one was in a different build state. But those brackets are supposed to be facing the other way around. So all in all we got 2 functional chairs for our 6 person table.
Overall the look of the chairs are good, but the assembly is an absolute nightmare! After a few hours 2 of us were able to successfully assemble 3 chairs, the other 3 are sitting in my living room waiting on me to figure out how to get the screws into the metal holes w/o stripping them. They do not line up properly and it causes them to strip out every time. I am using the tools they provided, and even tried a better quality tool that I owned and it happens every time. Also, they did not send enough of the screws to complete the job (even if I had not stripped 3 of them out) there is not enough in the package. I see now from previous reviewers that this is a consistent problem, once wonders why the company doesn't pay head to them and make necessary improvements. With all of that being said, the set will do nicely if/when I can get all the chairs built.
We had a very hard time with assembling the chairs, the threads were terrible so the bolts didnt want to go in at all. I still have 3 chairs in my back that I've given up on for the time being. The bolts use an Allen wrench but they arent very deep so they slid out easily causing it to be very easy to strip. After getting a few built they seemed noce and sturdy but beware they were a pain to put together. Aa for the table I have yet to recieve it so I can't say much for it.
The whole setup was painful starting with the boxes which wont open easily. You cant just cut the packing tape and expect it to open. The lids are glued shut on all sides. You have to pry them open with your fingers and break off little pieces till you can take the whole thing off. The other big problem was that the holes for screws were not properly done. There were many holes partially covered by welding material making it hard to put in the screws. I had to apply extra pressure to open the hole individually before I could put two parts together and secure them using the screw. Considering that each chair needed 6 screws to be installed and there are 6 chairs in this set....you can see how the partially covered holes become a big problem. Other than these two issues, the set is pretty good.
Set up for chairs very poor. All chairs had one arm/leg very difficult to assemble. Holes apparently were not drilled right and did not line up. I spent over 30 minutes on two chairs each trying to fasten the bolt. I still have not been able to fasten one chair. With the exception of this problem all the other bolts were easily fastened
