I have Palms planted in 2 of these and they work so well I purchased another one for another Palm. I am working on getting a forth one for still another Palm. They are sturdy, don't blow over in the wind. Easy to move around on the deck, and just look fabulous around the pool.

I currently have 2 of these planters in the Gray color. I have them on my deck with flowers in them. I followed the manufacturer's directions and put about 2" of packing popcorn in the bottom to lighten the planter for moving. I also used the soil recommended here on the website. I mixed a little bit of regular miracle grow gardening soil with it added my plants and they are very easy to move around. However the way the site depicts It one would think that the casters displayed Could go with the planter. They do not there is no place on the bottom of these planters for a caster if you want it to roll around on your deck you would require a platform Plant Holder. I was disappointed to discover this after I ordered 2 sets of casters to go with my planters. However over all I like them I like the fact that they are self watering once the plants become established. That will be helpful the summer as I travel during June and July. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they have no casters on the bottom And the fact that in the description of size it does not tell you that the opening for the soil and plant is smaller at the bottom then it is at the top. It's not as big as I had hoped based on the size of the planter.

This rain barrel fits my need for beauty and functionality on my patio. Its dimensions allowed me to install a water collection device to keep my patio dry from roof run-off , saving my furniture from excess water exposure. Its smaller dimensions and arts and crafts look fit well with my house.

We have a very sunny location at an entrance and spent last year lugging water almost daily to conventional pots. This has been reduced to 1-2 waterings per week with the excellent reservoir system in this lightweight, durable planter, that we spraypainted to custom color. Thanks for the excellent product!

I bought one of these planters two years ago. It has sat outside my front door for all this time. I can't vouch for the other colors, but white has stood up well. I have had several kinds of plants growing in it and all have done well. In the Texas summer heat, its water reservoir is a "lifesaver." So I just bought another one for outside the garage doors. I hope to grow a camellia in it. Stay Tuned!
