American Power Pull 2-Ton Cable Puller

As others have noted, it is very challenging to release the cable. Also, I lliced my palm and 4 fingers open while trying to release it. All of the edges of the metal are very sharp. Definitely wear gloves if you are going to use this cable puller/meat slicer. Purchased today. Returning today.

Simply the worst tool I have purchased ever. There is no way to pull the cable back off the reel. All the controls are there, but springs way too strong, handles way too small. Shameful.

Guess it may work OK. But from new, cable will not release from spool so useless. You need to redesign it: less cable or larger spool.

bought this brand new.. Cable reel was wound so tight, I couldn't get it to unravel. tried for an hour before I gave up

Beyond poor junk! DO NOT BUY!! It winched only one time and wouldn't release!! New cable jammed and the ONLY way to get it off was by destroying it with a sledge hammer. Thing would NOT release no matter what we tried. This isnt the first winch ive ever owned but ill never buy this one again!!
