Oral-B Glide Comfort Plus Dental Floss, Extra Soft, Value 2 Pack (40m Each)

Horrendous performance on this product. The old material was tried and tested. It stood the test of time. Everything doesn't need to be changed. Customers wanted and spent money on the old stuff. This new stuff is horrible and tacky. I'm forced to switch brands. Just terrible. Whose terrible idea was this?

I have been using this for many years (more than a decade?) and hands-down preferred this over any regular floss because of how it slid between my teeth. I regularly decline the free floss the dentist gives me. I pulled out a new package of this product a couple days ago and couldn't figure out why something felt odd when flossing the first couple of teeth. Then I realized the products had been completely changed. It feels like I have a piece of plastic going between my teeth, sticking in places it didn't stick before. The best adjective I can think of to describe this is “cringe-y.” I do not feel comfortable putting this in my mouth. Now I have to throw away the rest of my three pack and figure out what I'm going to use next.

OMG... When DID you CHANGE the material? I just found out..I do NOT like it at all!. I agreed with other reviewers' complains! It is PLASTIC! Stuck in between my teeth and Shredded! Am on my trip somewhere and opened to see the material was changed..! It is curly and hard to maneuver. It hurt my gums SO BAD and my gums BLED the first time used after all my old version used up just recently... Please bring back the OLD Version of the material...!

This product changed so much and just in the last few months! It is absolutely terrible. It used to be so soft and was one of the only flosses that didn't hurt my gums. I am currently five months pregnant and having issues with my gums as it is and that floss before it changed was absolutely amazing! I tried the new product and it's like plastic. It cuts my gums up and leaves them in pain every single time I use it I'm so mad that I wasted my money on this product. I will definitely be bringing it back to attempt to get a refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Especially if you're like me and have extremely sensitive gums. It went from being the best floss to being one of the worst ones I've ever used in a matter of a couple months. If I could I would give it 0 stars. I never leave reviews but felt I wanted to save other people like me from getting expensive sharp plastic instead of the soft floss it says it is.

New formula feels like flossing with tinsel. I will never by again. It's garbage. Seems like a scam to switch to this new product using the old name. It's not even the same thickness or texture. It's like a rubber band in texture. Just weird. And it appears they reformulated this strange floss across their floss line, so you can't even sub with any of their other glide products. Walmart hasn't updated the product picture, but if you go in stores, all the boxes says "new formula" on the packaging. I'm going to spend my money elsewhere than Oral B from now on.
