The 2ds fits in 3 year old's hands very well. He can access all buttons and controls and it's light enough he doesn't drop it. It's comfortable for adult hands as well. What a great value.

I purchased for both of my kids for Christmas - got a great deal and it is worth the price. I debated about the DS2 or the DS3 and went with the DS2 due to cost (I needed two devices). The DS2 does everything that the DS3 does except it will only play up to 2D mode. The 3DS is bigger and it can fold. The DS2 does not fold - the picture shows exactly how the game will look. I recommend a case for the DS. If you have two or more kids I would recommend shopping online for deals and purchasing the DS2.

Love this system. Honestly. I thought it would be a little awkward at first, seeing as it lacks the clamshell design and looks a little bulky, but that's the complete opposite. It's VERY sleek, and fits extremely comfortable in my hands; and I have small hands so that says something. It is extremely easy to use and surprisingly compact, and very durable as well. I throw it around and drop it all the time and nothing has happened. The screen is very well protected as well, so there's no danger there. No 3D features, but 3D gives me massive headaches so I am a-ok with that. Point is, if you're thinking about not getting it, GET IT. Trust me that it will be worth your while.

Couldn't find this in the stores. Found it on Walmart.com. Ordered it and it was ready for pick up in 3 hours. Outstanding customer service! This is a Christmas present for my son. He is going to be very happy that I was able to get one in the color he wanted.
