best bang for your buck!
It's an awesome home workout addition to anyone's "garage workout zone"; our son loves it and helps him practice his martial arts kicking technique. We like it because we don't have to hoist a hundred odd pounds of old-school punching/kicking bag suspended from our garage ceiling!
I love this bag. I'm 6'4", yet it is tall enough for a good workout and tough enough to take a beating. Strikes do cause it to shift and slide a bit when filled with water. However, because the base is circular in shape, I don't find that to be a problem. I just move around it in a circle during my workouts so that I strike it from different locations. That way, I am always moving it back toward the center of the floor. I thought about buying one of the thicker models, but I'm glad that I didn't. The original model is more than adequate for my needs.
If you fill this with water, it will move when you punch it. Maybe try sand. We filled with water and put 4 rubber door stops around it and it stays pretty still now when you punch it.
Love this product. Had I known my son and daughter would take to martial arts (they both compete), I would have bought this bag a few years ago instead of the Jr version which they outgrew too quickly.
