Sargento string cheese snacks taste about the same as other brands but don't peel apart as easily as other brands. Sargento is also more expensive so I buy other brands more often to help lower the grocery bill.
It's better when a little more towards room temp because the pull is more stringy instead of blocky and in pieces.
Best tasting string cheese ever. If I can't purchase Sargent, I'll go without. The texture is very nice too!!
The best reason I can think of for making strings of this worthy cheese snack, is to make it more attractive to chew. Also, to couple with that, it's easy to digest. But I like to dunk them in bean dip. So it's one of my favorite snacks, and now, snacks like these are on my diet.
Sargento (non light versión) is the only brand I'll buy, despite being way more expensive than the other brands. This pack is different! The taste and texture are like every other brand now. I thought they'd accidentally given me light in my order, but the packaging just says “new look, same great taste.” The packaging actually looks the same, not sure what the new look is, but the cheese itself is all wrong.
