The Vivonex Pediatric diet can also be prepared using a blender. For tube feeding, administer at room temperature via continuous drip. Optimal patient tolerance and a higher total intake can be achieved by drinking slowly or through continuous tube feeding. Once mixed, the diet can be kept at room temperature for up to 8 hours. Alternatively, the mixed diet can be refrigerated for up to 48 hours. Unopened powder should be stored at room temperature.
