this pump worked extremely well for the first month and then one side stopped working so it completely defeated the purpose of a double pump. also, i was so impressed with how well it that i bought my friend one and hers went out the same way even before mine, one side no longer had suction anymore.

Horrible quality. The shields detach from the bottles easily and theres only one mode. Very Cheap quality wouldnt recommend at all. I needed a backup pump while my Medela was being replaced and this definitely is not it!!!

suction isn't the best. it's very painful to use as well! with this pump it take about 45 minutes for me to get 2 oz out. with my medela pump it takes about 20 minutes to get 3-8 oz out.

The First Years Quiet Expressions Double Breast Pump is exactly what it is named, a double breast pump. I have only used one other breast pump that is considered a medium grade pump. Compared to my other pump the First Years Quiet Expressions Double Breast Pump is one third the price and close to its performance, but a bit lacking in some aspects. It has 8 milk suction levels that you can adjust it to while pumping. It says it is super quiet, but honestly I think that no breast pump is really quiet with the amount of noise generated. It comes with a handle that makes double pumping easier, it just takes some time to get comfortable with it. You can grasp the one handle when pumping, than have to worry about using one hand per side. If you are a working mother, it comes with a bag that makes traveling with all the parts easy to store. It is definitely much better than any other manual pump, but I think my previous pump extracted more milk than this one. If you are in a budget, I do recommend this as a good alternative, compared to higher priced electric double pumps.
