Swanson Olive Leaf Extract 500 mg 60 Capsules

I've been ordering Swanson Olive Leaf Extract for years. These used to be so good when they were fresh and green. During the last year I've received pills that are not fresh and they are yellow in color. They look and smell stale and are ineffective. I have an older bottle that is much fresher with green pills than the newer bottles with the yellow pills. There is a definite quality control issue here. I was hoping Swanson had addressed this when I placed my last order a week ago but I received more poor quality olive leaf extract pills that I am returning.

I had read that the first couple of times you can feel kinda of ill. I had an extreme reaction. I took it at night before I went to bed and work a couple of hours later very ill. I took it again a couple of days later and the same thing happened. I haven't taken it again. sad I was hoping for better results. I have used this site for years and loved every thing else I have tried.

I had been taking dosages of 750mg extra strength and it was giving me extreme nausea and headaches. I needed a quality lower dosage and this was the perfect dosage for a quality product. Works exactly as I needed with no nausea or headaches!! This is one you really should start out at lower doses!

What a great price for this olive Leaf Extract. I have taken olive leaf for several years and was used to paying $15 a bottle so when I saw this product for 1/3 the price I was a little unsure how well it worked. The product is great and works as well as the expensive brands.... Swanson you have won me over!!

Each pill is roughly equivalent to the polyphenol content of a full cup of high polyphenol content olive oil. Much of the benefits attributed to olive oil come from the polyphenols, and here you can easily get the polyphenols without any oil. However, it is a relatively large dose, more than you would get from normal olive oil consumption, so don't be surprised if you feel an effect that you wouldn't from normal olive consumption.\nIt took me a couple of weeks to get used to it, but I eventually did. At first it caused me to feel as if I was coming down with something, but now I feel better than ever.
