Honey Stinger Energy Waffle, Cinnamon, 12 Waffles, 1.06 oz (30 g) Each

These waffles are just what I need for that little bit of carbs before a run or workout. I usually have one about 10-20mins before and have never had any digestion problems. I workout early in the morning, so usually only have a few minutes and don't want anything heavy. They are light, taste great, and provide just a little extra I need for my early morning workouts.

I bought two cases of honey stingers to take on a high elevation elk hunt. We hiked approximately 6-8 miles a day between 8500-10,000 feet of elevation and the honey stingers were great for helping maintain our energy levels through the cold days. I was very pleased with them.

Really good flavor and consistency. The packaging is decent though it can be a bit hard to open with one hand and without turning the waffle into a crumbly mess. Being able to open with one hand reliably would be a big advantage as holding onto bicycle handlebars in strong cross winds is something that has to be done with one hand or risk going down. Obviously this isn't unique to this flavor of waffles or even this product line but something I think the packaging R&D dept should keep in mind. To me the Vanilla and Chocolate flavor that was replaced by this was a 5, the Cookies and Cream is a 4 for taste.

These are simply the best pre-workout snack, or post-working energy recovery snack that could possibly exist. Big enough to put a grumbling tummy at ease, but easy enough to process that you can get to exercising quickly after consuming. It's just perfect.

The flavor of these gluten free waffles is amazing. The consistency and texture are great, and it could just be me but it seems like they don't get crumbly and broken as easily when beat around a bit in a cycling jersey pocket or bento box. The vanilla chocolate is probably my favorite, but man the salted caramel, wildflower honey and cinnamon are RIGHT there with hit.
